Mary Riley, Principal
Mary Riley is proud to serve as principal at SRE, a school community she describes as truly amazing. She looks forward to partnering with staff, students, and families to help every student achieve success academically and socially-emotionally.
Riley grew up in Liberty, Missouri, and earned a bachelor’s degree in vocal music education from Northwest Missouri State University. She holds a master’s degree in school leadership from Baker University. She began her career as a music teacher before transitioning to assistant principal roles at the middle school level. Following her passion, she returned to elementary education, where she has served as a building principal for many years.
Outside of school, Riley and her husband, Tyler, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Hallie Grace, and their Cavapoo, Yukon. The family enjoys summer trips to Clinton Lake, swimming pools, and beach outings, along with time spent with family and friends.
